Tottenham Hotspur Sells Clint Dempsey, Hires Ted Lasso

Tottenham Hotspur has announced the transfer of US international Clint Dempsey to Seattle Sounders FC. Dempsey’s last stint in MLS was with New England in 2006. He then signed with Fulham, playing for six seasons at Craven Cottage before playing for Tottenham last year.
But don’t worry, American football fans: Tottenham has just announced they have hired American coach Ted Lasso as manager. He’s already getting the hang of English football.
