Tom Brady took one for the team when he just signed his new three year contract with the Patriots. He didn’t hold out for more money, looking to keep cash free to bring in more talent to place around him. Brady received a signing bonus of $3 million, along with base salaries of $7 million, $8 million and $9 million in 2015-17. If you listen closely enough, you can hear Joe Flacco’s agent throwing a shit fit somewhere in Baltimore.
