Tiffany Haddish Stays Cool About Katt Williams Rant

Tiffany Haddish isn’t rattled after Katt Williams went off on a rant about her and other celebrity black comics last Friday. She’s just fine with it. “I made it!” she wrote. “Katt talked about me and didn’t have his facts right,” she said, adding that she’s looking forward to seeing him on Monday when they pick up their respective Emmys- Haddish for hosting SNL, Williams for a guest appearance on Atlanta. “I just want to shower you with REAL Love cause you need it and I love you.”

Haddish’s tweet responded to a long rant Katt leveled in not only Haddish’s direction but also Kevin Hart, Lil Rel, Jerrod Carmichael and Hannibal Buress.

Friday morning Williams appeared on Atlanta’s V-103’s ‘Frank and Wanda’ Show, and after he listed his own credentials, nine specials (more comedy specials than any other comedian) so far, and he owns them all, and financed them himself without ever taking a loan, 50 tours, a $2 million dollar Netflix special, the topic turned to Katt saying what he thinks about Netflix and some other celebrity comics.

Netflix doesn’t have an opinion on stand up comedy- he pointed out, they base what they pay you on how many tickets you sold during your last tour. “It’s not personal,” he said. Katt said to be special you have to be saying something different from 100 other people talking

“They’re gonna let you do your special Jerrod Carmichael, but nobody’s gonna watch it. They’re gonna let you be a star Lil Rel but you ugly,” he said, adding that “white people don’t believe in ugly stars.”

He called Kevin Hart, Lil Rel, Jerrod Carmichael and Hannibal Buress dudes that no woman would talk to in Lenox Mall.

And then he turned his sights on Haddish. “She’s been doing comedy since she was sixteen. You can’t tell me your favorite Tiffany Haddish joke. Why? Because she ain’t done a tour yet. She ain’t done a special. She has not proven the ability to tell jokes … back to back … for an hour to nobody. And they already ready to down Monique and up somebody who has shown them Girls Trip. Do you think she wrote Girls Trip goofball?” Katt said anyone could have played Haddish’s part in the movie. Frank and Wanda were floored. Williams said he does love her however she passed up 46 female black comedians who “have a hard time getting a chicken sandwich from Chick Fil A after they headline 7 shows at a club for $2500 a week.” Williams went off about how Haddish isn’t any more “real” than anyone listening to the show or their friends, cousins, etc. They’re so ghetto, he said. “They like her because she wants to sleep with a white man.” He complained that she had a white husband, divorced him, said he abused her, wrote a book, then said he didn’t, and says he doesn’t believe that she has a diseased vajayjay.
