A lawsuit seeking $250 million has been filed against Twitter by a group of music publishers. Facebook, Instagram and TikTok all have licensing deals but Twitter has not. Moreover, Twitter has failed to respond to takedown requests from music publishers when users post clips that contain music subject to copyright.
