Three Dog Night Singer Cory Wells Dies at 74
Cory Wells, one of the founding members and lead singers of the band Three Dog Night, has died at 74. In the hours since his death was announced, tributes have come in from everyone from Motley Crue’s Vince Neil to Senator Chuck Schumer. With Wells, Three Dog Night had 21 consecutive Top 40 hits, an insane accomplishment. Bandmate Danny Hutton said Wells was “an incredible singer, a great performer. He could sing anything.”
