The highly anticipated series Those Who Can’t will premiere on truTV on Thursday, February 11 at 10:30pm et/pt.
It’s truTV’s first scripted comedy, and a cornerstone of the network’s redesign as primarily a comedy network. Denver rising comedy stars Adam Cayton-Holland, Andrew Orvedahl and Ben Roy star in the half hour comedy playing three high school teachers who haven’t progressed much beyond their own days as high school students. They’re thoroughly inept, but have all the confidence in the world that they can beat the system, and spend their days scheming to outmaneuver the administration and the students.
Orvedahl, Roy and Cayton-Holland have been performing as the Denver based stand up and sketch group, Grawlix and based their characters for the series off of the digital series of the same name.
The debut of Those Who Can’t will follow the Season Five premiere of truTV hit series Impractical Jokers which fires up at 10pm on February 11th. The network has also announced premiere dates for several new series, including Santas in the Barn– a search for the nation’s best Santas that will bring 10 professional Santa Clauses to live at ‘christmas fantasy camp’ and compete in Christmas Challenges with a $100,000 prize for the last Claus standing. Santas in the Barn premieres on December 2nd. April Richardson and Chris Fairbanks celebrate those who fail in Almost Genius, premiering December 29th, Jamie Lee will host list-based show 10 Things starting up on January 5th, and David Spade’s new fake reality/prank show Fameless kicks off on January 18th.
