Thomas Middleditch Out-Nerds Dungeons & Dragons Players
Season Three of HBO’s hit comedy Silicon Valley comes back this week and Thomas Middleditch is out promoting. On Tuesday night he appeared on the Stephen Colbert Late Show program and in celebration of the new season, he made a fancy-man’s entrance. Well more accurately he blew his fancy entrance by dropping his stick, and you’ll have to watch the clip below to see what the hell that means. Middleditch had a great appearance, he mocked out Stephen’s name, got into some dirty talk that gave Colbert a chance to make fun of TM’s name, and later revealed a level of nerd-ness that may even surprise Silicon Valley fans. For everyone who thought Dungeon’s and Dragons is nerdy, wait till you hear about the nerdy nerd game that is so nerdy you’ve never even heard of it. The good news is all you D&D players just jumped up one notch on the cool scale.
Silicon Valley starts up again on Sunday night on HBO, and spoiler alert- this season the guys get great news and are riding on top of the world, but they will also get crushed lower than dirt when everything falls apart. But don’t worry, something good happens in the next episode, but uh oh, that great thing won’t last long.
