There’s An Ice Cream War Going Down In Midtown Manhattan

Mr. Softee is no longer the only game in town when it comes to summertime ice cream trucks. A new outfit, run by former Softee drivers, called New York Ice Cream, is making a big push into the very populated midtown Manhattan area. One New York ice cream driver was overheard saying, “From now on, nothing goes down unless I’m involved. No ice cream cones, no sundaes, no nothing. A soft serve gets sold in the park, I want in. You guys got fat while everybody starved on the street. Now it’s my turn.”
