The Word “Tweet” is Now Legit

The noun and verb form of the word “tweet” were added to the Oxford English Dictionary, breaking an OED rule that says that a word must be current for 10 years before being included. Flash-mob and mani-pedi were also entered. Nobody will accuse 2012 of too much dignity.
