A Honolulu newspaper is reporting that the woman who posed as Manti Te’o’s girlfriend on the phone told him that she faked her leukemia death because she was on the run from drug dealers. This actually makes sense because one thing this story was missing was fictitious gangsters. If they could work “time travel” into this mess as well, they could get a made-for-TV movie out of it.
