The Daily Show Podcast Without Jon Stewart is a Thing
Comedy Central launches new behind-the-scenes podcast The Daily Show Podcast Without Jon Stewart streaming at thedailyshow.cc.com/podcast or download via iTunes.
Unlike the name implies, it will not be a daily podcast. 20 to 30 minute episodes will be available every other Monday starting today August 11. Each episode will focus on different aspects of the show. Sometimes it will expand on and explore a serious show topic, or will go behind the scenes with current and/or former members of the staff. Hosting duties will rotate among writers, producers, correspondents and contributors from “The best fucking news team ever!”
The team is also interested your musical interpretation of The Daily Show theme song. Upload your work to SoundCloud or YouTube using the hashtag #MyDailyShowTheme in the title then share the link by visiting the podcast page on the Comedy Central website.
