The C.I.A. Planted Spies in the NYPD
A de-classified report was just released by the C.I.A.’s inspector general that revealed the agency’s placement of spies in the NYPD after the 9/11 attacks. According to the report, this embedding of agents didn’t break the rule about members of the C.I.A. being banned from spying on Americans…? The NYPD feels awkward about all of the C.I.A. smack talk though.
