NBC raised $21 million dollars for children in poverty during this years first annual "Red Nose Day" in the United States, making it the most charitable special of the 2014/15 tv season.

Today is the very first official red nose day in the United States and NBC is going all out to raise money for kids in need. Seth Meyers, David Duchovny and Jane Krakowsi will be hosting NBC's Three Hour "ALL-STAR CHARITY EVENT ‘RED NOSE DAY’ tonight from 8pm to 11pm.

Curfews have been set and the National Guard have been called in because of the unrest from rioters who have taken to the streets following the death of Freddie Gray, who died of a spinal cord injury sustained while in police custody.
