It looks like ABC is committed to preserving the “weird factor” of NBC’s classic variety show The Gong Show with their upcoming reboot, as the show’s […]
Fans of FOX’s The Last Man on Earth may remember the very emotional duet sung by Will Forte and Jason Sudeikis’ characters this past season. Phil/Tandy […]
Despite everyone’s insistence that cable is the place to find the best programming on TV, 31 episodes into its two year run, Last Man on Earth has proven network TV can still compete. Segmented into essentially three volumes (part 1 of season 1, part 1 of season 2, and part 2 of season 2), the show has continued to transverse sitcom conventions not only in its high concept structure but the social commentary and emotional truths it tackles.
Tons of news from the television front, as CBS, NBC, ABC and The CW have all announced renewals and new projects in the works. Let’s jump right into it.
More casting news has come in for the Netflix movie about the life of National Lampoon founder Doug Kenny. The movie is A Futile & Stupid Gesture, and late last week it was announced that three great comics will play comedy giants Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, and John Belushi.
Part of being problem with the star of the hit comedy series Last Man on Earth means Will Forte has to lug around a big ole wooly beard, and it gives him anxiety.
Will Forte has a famous prank. Even if he's only done it to two or three people, its gross, and memorable enough, that he's become known for it. Not going to give away the details, you can watch the clip for that, but it's not going to help him keep a girlfriend in the apocalypse.

This week, Sandler's new movie Pixels comes out, so he is doing that whole talk show circuit thingy. He talked with Seth Meyers about creating the Pac Man Sequence for the movie. They shot in Canada and thought people would be thrilled to have the movie shoot there. Nope.
Last night I got to go to my first red carpet event as a correspondent for The IBang, and it was a great time. The movie, Staten Island Summer is really funny, and it's the kind of movie you need to have at least one of every summer. The entire movie takes place in Staten Island, most of it at a pool club and it's one of those great summer party movies in the tradition of Caddyshack and Wet Hot American Summer.
Three very funny people. One topic. Who will come out on top? Kristen Schaal, Will Forte and Horatio Sanz battled it out last night on @midnight. They vied for better excuses to avoid sex, and hashtag battled over bird bands.
Will Forte talked with Conan last night in depth about his character's "toilet pool" on Last Man on Earth. How could something so awful come from something so beautiful?
