T.J. Miller Promises and Delivers As Critics Choice Awards Host

As far as awards shows go, the Critics Choice Awards hit a home run last night. As the new show on the block the CCAS went all in on fun, with T.J. Miller at the helm, and for some reason, William Shatner announcing, like an awards show Ed McMahon.

Pete Davidson, Abby Elliot, Jerrod Carmichael Make Forbes 30 Under 30 List

Forbes Magazine has put out their annual 30 Under 30 list, featuring 600 of the "brightest young entrepreneurs, breakout talents and change agents in 20 different sectors." The Hollywood and Entertainment sector features promising young performers, agents, industry professionals, rappers, writers, producers, singers, and musicians. Six of the entertainment sector picks are comedians including some names we've featured like Pete Davidson, Abby Elliott, and Jerrod Carmichael.

Music has always been a part of comedy. Since the days of the old traveling vaudeville shows, to era of the novelty song, the parody song, through to todays more modern take on musical comedy, there will always be musical comedy.
