Thousand of comedians narrowed down to 100. One hundred comedians narrowed down to the favorite 28. Who are the twenty eight comedians who were chosen by Roseanne Barr, Keenan Ivory Wayans and Russell Peters to continue on to the Semi Finals Round (which, according to Roseanne's twitter account, taped Saturday night). We're taking a look at who are the semis.

Amy Schumer Added to Montreal Just For Laughs Lineup

For over thirty years, the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival is one of the biggest comedy events in the world. And the 2014 incarnation of Just For Laughs once again, is promising to be one of the comedy events of the year. Today it was announced that comedian Amy Schumer will be jointing the already amazing lineup, and she will be posting her own Just For Laughs Gala event on Saturday July 26th at 7pm.

Dark Comedy Fargo Earns 5 Critics Choice Nominations

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association announced nominations for the 4th annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards. This is the first awards ceremony that the new FX series Fargo has been eligible for, and the dark comedy grabbed a well deserved five nominations in the mini series categories, including best mini series, two best actor nominations for stars Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman, and two more for supporting performers Alison Tolman and Colin Hanks.

Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer and Other Big Names to Mentor Comics on This Year’s “Last Comic Standing”

NBC has been keeping most of the details about this year's all new season of Last Comic Standing. Most of the format details are super hush, and the names of the comedians have been largely guarded with the exception of a few comedians we've seen in promos. But NBC announced today, that in addition to all the great comedians already involved, there will be a number of huge comedy names serving as celebrity mentors.

Who Pranked the Bridgetown Comedy Festival

The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, founded in 2008 by Andy Wood, Matt Braunger, and Kim Brady, just celebrated its 7th year of bringing the finest comedy in the world to Portland, Oregon. This year featured over 200 comics, including Emo Philips, Reggie Watts, W. Kamau Bell, Nathan Fielder, and Dan Harmon, who drunkenly announced the end of "Community" on the afterparty dance floor.
