What Superstar Comedian Is Going to Star in Fargo S4?

Fargo is one of the best dramatic television shows on tv, and a series that has made great use of comedians in dramatic roles (ie, Key & Peele).

Today at the TCA press tour FX announced that Chris Rock is coming to Fargo Season 4. That’s pretty exciting. This go-round the Fargo team will cover immigration and assimilation and the things we do for money. Rock will be playing the head of a Black crime syndicate in conflict with an Italian crime syndicate in Kansas City and we’re going way back in time to 1950 (Season one took place in 2006, season two in 1979, and season three in 2010). Two crime syndicates- black and Italian- have made a peace and the heads of the families traded their first born sons to help cement that peace. Things take a weird turn when the head of the Italian family dies during routine surgery.

While Rock has been EP’ing plenty of programming over the last five years, it’s been quite some time since we’ve seen him on the small screen.

Season four starts shooting and will air in 2019.
