Steve Buscemi and Jon Stewart Talk About #BuscemiDeaths

Steve Buscemi was Jon Stewarts big guest on The Daily Show last night. He’s promoting his hit AOL talk show, which takes place in McCorley park, and if you’re not already up on it, you should be. It’s called Park Bench, and its very chill and very Buscemi. Only thing missing is, no Buscemi deaths.
Stewart and Buscemi started talking about how the most famous thing about Steve Buscemi, might be how often he dies in movies. Jon Stewart said his favorite Buscemi death is the Fargo Wood Chipper Death, but Steve picked a less dramatic demise as his favorite. He’s picking the simple heart attack death, that didn’t even really need to happen, in Big Lebowski. That character didn’t even need to die, Buscemi said. “It’s just like, well Buscemi’s in it, let’s just kill him anyway.”
When Buscemi volunteered to be an auction item for Robert Smigel’s “Night of Too Many Stars” benefit, they auctioned off opportunity to kill Steve Buscemi on stage. Stewart and Buscemi shared stories about the weirdness surrounding the event.
There were issues with Buscemi’s pants, a deadly peanut, and a very unhappy very large audience member who looked like he might really try to kill Buscemi, but you can hear all the stories for yourself. Just dive right into that clip right there and enjoy.
Catch an all new season of Park Bench Starts June 18th on AOL.
