It will be his first time hosting. Musical guest for the premiere will Ariana Grande who is also making her Saturday Night Live debut. Saturday Night Live also announced who would be hosting its second show of the 40th season on October 4th, Sarah Silverman. She just won an Emmy Award for her HBO special “Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles”. Sarah is also a former SNL cast member. The musical guest for week 2 will be Maroon 5.
