Shocker: 2014’s Country Music All Sounds The Same
If there’s anyone who knows how generic and manufactured modern country music is, it’d be a Nashville-based songwriter. And Gregory Todd just happens to be one, so he proved it by mashing together six country songs: Blake Shelton’s “Sure Be Cool If You Did,” Parmalee’s “Close Your Eyes,” Florida Georgia Line’s “This Is How We Roll,” Chase Rice’s “Ready Set Roll,”, Luke Bryan’s “Drunk On You,” and Cole Swindell’s “Chillin’ It.” Congrats, Nashville: compared to you, Bon Jovi’s music feels like introspective art.
