2015 SF SketchFest Will Honor This Is Spinal Tap

The San Francisco Sketchfest Comedy Festival has just announced the line up for the 2015 event. SF Sketchfest will be starting January 22nd and running through February 8th with over 200 shows.

Highlights will include a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the comedy classic, “This Is Spinal Tap”. SF Sketchfest will honor Spinal Tap creators Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer with special in-person tributes.

Another major event, Weird Al Yankovic in conversation with Chris Hardwick. Weird Al is coming off an amazing year with his first number one album, “Mandatory Fun”. He’ll be sitting down with Comedy Central’s @midnight host Chris Hardwick who’s coming off his own strong 2014.

Other acts announced for SF Sketchfest 2015 include a special edition of StarTalk Live with Bill Nye the Science Guy and Eugene Mirman plus Maria Bamford, Doug Benson, Wyatt Cenac, John Cho, Margaret Cho, Adam Devine, Tate Donovan, Jeff Garlin, Janeane Garofalo, John Hodgman, Pete Holmes, Natasha Leggero, Kevin McDonald, Busy Philipps, Kristen Schaal, Adam Scott, Jenny Slate, Jennifer Tilly, Paul F. Tompkins and Stephnie Weir are all on the bill.
