Seinfeld Performs Stand Up on Letterman, Talks About Joan Rivers

Last night Jerry Seinfeld was a guest on The Late Show with David Letterman. The stand up icon and king of observational comedy on tv pulled a a surprising move, and performed some observational stand up for the Late Show audience. He shared his feelings about minivans and those little white stickers that tell you all the members of the minivan’s family. Spoiler alert: he doesn’t like em. And it won’t shock you to know he deconstructed some popular conversational phrases- classic Jerry.

Later, Jerry headed over to chat with Dave. We learned that he is 60 and doesn’t believe in bucket lists.

He also and talked about his series Comedians Getting Coffee. This season, he’ll be talking with Jimmy Fallon, and he’s heading to Portland to talk with Fred Armisen. He also was supposed to have Joan Rivers on the show this season, and shared some thoughts about developing admiration for Joan after seeing her documentary. The odd thing is, Jerry has only recently discovered and started liking coffee. This leads to Dave admitting what he finds to be the greatest sin against humanity and a conversation about coffee that probably should have been taking place at Monks in 1986.
