What to Do and See at Vulture Festival 2018 NYC
Vulture Festival is fast approaching and the folks at Vulture and New York Magazine can’t stop adding content to their 2018 line up. For the fifth year in a row, the two day festival will highlight some Vulture favorite pop cultural icons with conversations, live podcast recordings, panels, performances and other unique programming.
The festival takes place May 19-20 at Milk Studios in New York City, and its such a fun festival to check out. With a few small exceptions the entire festival takes place in one location- directly across the way from Chelsea Market, so you have great places to go for lunch. And Vulture makes it fun with lounges, charging stations, free cocktails and other surprises and experiences to enjoy between shows. Yes, that’s real free cocktails, and if last year’s event is a good indication- they’re worth getting in line for.
Some of the events have already sold out, but there’s still room to get into many major events, and there are new events that have been added. Some events promising to become festival favorites include a conversation with Tracy Morgan- by the way if you’re not watching his TBS series The O.G., you’re missing out. Its one of our favorite comedy series out this year. Also on the top of our list, our buddies at Las Culturistas Live will be doing a live podcast at Vulture Festival- if you’re fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race (and who isn’t?) then you will want to be at their live podcast taping. We’re also planning to check out John Leguizamo, Queery Live (sorry that one is sold out already!), Johnny Knoxville, In Conversation with Samantha Bee, Dr. Gameshow, Good One with Jesse David Fox, and the Vulture Fest stand up comedy show at the Bell House Sunday night- it has a killer line up.
