CMA Bans Confederate Flags

It may be shocking that it took this long, but the Country Music Association has banned all confederate flags from its annual music festival. The Country Music Association added “Confederate flag imagery of any kind” to the prohibited items list at the upcoming CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee. The four day festival takes place starting June 9th.
Does this include tattoos?

2022 Spelling Bee Had An Edge of Your Seat Ending

This year’s Scripps National Spelling Bee had an exciting finish, with the first ever spell off to decide a winner. The victor, Harini Logan, spelled 21 words in 90 seconds to break the tie.

CNN Promises to Stop Overloading Us With Non Breaking Breaking News

The cable news streamer admitted they overuse the phrase Breaking News and promised to cut it out. It seems like every time they put up a new story, they called it “breaking” because everyone clicks on “breaking” news. But what about you MSNBC, asked mediaite? And how about every single website on the internet, while we’re at it.

Here’s some Breaking news: none of these channels actually has news let alone breaking news.

The UK Dumped the Metric System?

Generation X and Baby Boomers may remember persistent failed efforts to convince the US to change from the Imperial system of measurement to the more logical metric system. It never happened. But now the UK decided to go the other way and join us with inches, ounces, and degrees fahrenheit instead of centimeters, litres and celsius.

The only reason why they tried to force it on us was because you guys did it first.

Tampa Bay Rays Baseball Complex Vetoed by Governor. Was it Retribution?

A planned $35 million dollar baseball complex for the Rays has been shot down by Governor DeSantis soon after the team tweeted a plea for gun control. The team ha tweeted, “This cannot become normal. We cannot become numb. We cannot look the other way. We all know, if nothing changes, nothing changes.

All 15 Rays fans will vote against him in the next election.

Tony Kornheiser Dead to Me Says Norman Chad

Norman Chad who you may know as the color for the World Series of Poker said his old friend Tony Kornheiser is dead to him ever since Tony stopped inviting his friend to appear on PTI. “I was persona non grata. … It was either (Tony) Kornheiser himself who said, ‘No more Norm,’ or the guy who ran the show (executive producer) Erik Rydholm. It had to be one of the two and it was probably both.”

Last weekend we heard that Depp was on stage with Jeff Beck for two nights after the defamation trial ended, but before the jury delivered the verdict. On Friday the duo announced they collaborated on a studio album, which will be available in July.

Fired DWTS Judge Tries to Defend Himself

Matthew Morrison went on Instagram to explain himself after he was let go from Dancing With the Stars. He shared the DM to a contestant that landed him in trouble. He said he DM’ed the woman “Hey, it’s Matthew. If you don’t mind, would love to get your number and talk you through some things.”

Weird. Thought he told her to swing by the Morrison Hotel.

Sources say the comedian and actress has been tapped to play sister to Bradley Cooper’s starring role as Leonard Bernstein in the movie Maestro. Just this week, after revealing an image of Cooper in makeup, the filmmakers were accused of promoting JewFace, something Silverman has been outspoken against.

One way to do away with a complainer is to put her on the payroll.
