Trailers for the movie Yesterday suggested Anna DeArmas was in the movie, but she wasn’t. So a few of her fans want to sue for false advertising. The studios tried to have the lawsuit tossed out, claiming a first amendment right to artistic expression. But the judge ruled that the lawsuit can go forward, and that trailers are ads and therefore, commercial speech.

So If your movie stinks you better have a shitty trailer.

And she’s tired of the movement to discredit those in the business who had famous parents. “There’s not a day in my professional life that goes by without my being reminded that I am the daughter of movie stars,” she wrote, adding that “the current conversation about nepo babies is just designed to try to diminish and denigrate and hurt.”
