Police say there’s no evidence of foul play in the death of a man on Rainey Street but some are starting to believe there is a serial killer targeting men on Rainey Street, a popular tourist spot in downtown Austin. A 33 Year old man was found dead last week, and his body was recovered from Lady Bird Lake. He was the second body found in the lake in recent weeks and the seventh in the last ten months.

Looks like not everyone is loving that Austin growth spurt.

More than 150 Catholic priests and others associated with the Archdiocese of Baltimore sexually abused over 600 children- a staggering number- according to a new report released this week. The abuse occurred over a period of 80 years. One period had 11 different abusers over a fifty year span, and one abuser was found to have over 100 victims.

Wicked is now the fourth longest running musical on Broadway or at least it will be when the Wizard of Oz prequel runs its 7,486th show this week, outlasting Cats. The number one spot is pretty secure with Phantom of the Opera clocking in nearly double the performances, but that show is closing in April which will lock in its #1 spot somewhere around 14,000 shows. Chicago and Lion King are next in line with 10,300 and 9,900 shows under their betls.
