Sarah Silverman Bringing Next Special To Netflix This May
Netflix is adding another comedy superstar to its list of comedy stars releasing new comedy specials. Sarah Silverman will join the growing roster of big (and expensive) names releasing new specials with the streaming giant.
The new special will shoot later this month, and will become available on May 30th, 2017.
Sarah’s last special, “Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles” was released on HBO and earned the network a Primetime Emmy for “Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special” and the companion album received a Grammy nomination for “Best Comedy Album” and made our top ten albums of the year that year. Silverman is one of the most loved, and respected stand up comedians in the country, adored by hardcore and casual fans, as well as other comedians.
When she’s not performing stand up, she’s also an actress, a bestselling author, a writer and producer.
Silverman’s upcoming Netflix stand up comedy special will be directed by Liam Lynch. JASH has signed on to produce alongside Thruline’s Amy Zvi.
