Santa Meets Bill Murray
Esquire arranged for a historic sit down between two holiday greats- Bill Murray, and Santa Claus. Esquire says they sat down over dinner and brandy at New York City’s Bistro Latino, for an interview and they talked about the Christmas spirit, presents, music and movies.
Murray and Santa have so much in common. Like that they were both in Christmas movies and they also both love to get drunk and slide down chimneys.
“Murray: I can’t believe I’m sitting here with Santa. I mean, you’re a god.”
“Claus: Oh, right. Don’t even start with that. Like I’d even be here if it weren’t for Jesus. Give me a break. I’m just following in the footsteps, baby. Ever hear of a fella by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth? Yeah. He makes Santa Claus of the North Pole look like a pygmy. I’m a pygmy.”
