Sam Jay, Liza Treyger, Sophie Buddle and More to Play Bumbershoot Comedy Stage This Year
Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival announced its official 2018 lineup including the list of names taking the stage for the comedy part of the festival.
Taking place over Labor Day weekend, Friday Aug. 31 through Sunday Sept. 2, the 48th annual Bumbershoot will feature Eugene Mirman and his “Last Podcast on the Left“, “Haunting Renditions: Plugged In” with Eliot Glazer, “Dear Owen Wilson” with Blair Socci, and some of our favorite comics performing stand up like Liza Treyger, Langston Kerman, Emily Heller, Sophie Buddle, Alex Edelman, Sam Jay, Josh Johnson, Shane Torres, Chris Fairbanks, Kate Willett, Lisa Best, Amir K, Bri Pruett, Kortney Shane Williams and Gavin Matts, plus “The Omnibus Project” with Ken Jennings & John Roderick, “Bad Jokes” with Wilfred Padua & HansmJustin, Nikkita Oliver hosting “Think It, Say It, Do It“, “Off Book: The Improvised Musical” with Jessica McKenna & Zach Reino, and “On Deck” with Courtney Karwal, Jamel Johnson & Mike Mulloy.
Bumbershoot is a great celebration to close out the summer with its Seattle Center location as a park-like oasis in the middle of vibrant downtown Seattle.
