Russell Peters Is a NYC Hero in Attempted Jewel Theft
Caught on security video- Russell Peters was at a jewelry shop and helped take down a dude on a mission to help himself to the merchandise.
TMZ got hold of the video, where you can see Peters browsing in the New York’s famed Diamond District, when another man in the store suddenly makes a run for it. A store employee tries to stop the dude from fleeing, but Peters gets involved and helps put a stop to that, holding the dude down till authorities arrive. If he had gotten away, he would have scored some jewelry worth over $150,000.
Those who know Peters know he has trained in martial arts which explains his fearless dive into the middle of the action.
