Poor Bruce Jenner seems to be the last person on earth that it is OK to bully. Russell Brand ain’t having it. Bruce Jenner has been the target of rumors that he’s transitioning into becoming a woman.

Russell says that transphobia is the just a new fad in bullying, now that other bullying in other areas is now out of style. He said, “Transphobia seems to be the most recent and encouraged form of prejudice, now that racism and homophobia are not tolerated.” In his “Trews Fame Friday” video, Russell Brand takes on TMZ’s coverage of Bruce Jenner and the controversial photoshopped cover of In Touch magazine which altered a photo of an actress to make Bruce Jenner look like a woman.

Russell implored the tabloid media to stop attacking Bruce Jenner over these transgender issues. He feels it’s this kind of bullying that leads people to depression and even suicide.

Pulse.ng reported that Russell Brand showed up on the steps of the home of Daily Mail CEO Viscount Rothermere unannounced and with a film crew. Russell is currently shooting a political documentary, “Hit List” with director Michael Winterbottom. The doc focuses on the social inequalities that have led to the global financial crisis. In the past, Russell Brand has accused the Daily Mail chief of tax evasion. There was also trouble between Russell and the newspaper last year when Russell tweeted out the phone number and address of a Daily Mail reporter.
