Roseanne Ratings Free Fall
When the Roseanne reboot first aired on ABC, the show looked unstoppable with 15 million viewers. Renewals were locked in, while other networks scrambled to change their strategies, hoping to get in on the trend. Things are still pretty great, but according to Showbiz911, ratings dipped from 15 million, to 13 million and then this week’s ratings dropped to half that, getting beaten by The Voice and an NCIS rerun. ABC wasn’t airing a new episode this week- 6 million viewers tuned in for a re-airing of the first four episodes. But nobody saw that nosedive coming, or surely ABC would not have dedicated a full hour to reairing eps. Looks like even people with a love of nostalgia aren’t ready to be nostalgic about last month just yet.
