Robert Kelly, Ari Shaffir and Kyle Kinane Comedy Specials To Debut in January
Happy Funny New Year from Comedy Central! The comedy network is not wasting any time in 2015 rolling out brand new hours of stand up. CC has new specials from Robert Kelly, Ari Shaffir and Kyle Kinane set to premiere in January.
“Robert Kelly: Live at the Village Underground” premieres on Friday, January 9th at 12 am et on Comedy Central. Taped in front of a capacity crowd at the famous Comedy Cellar at the Village Underground in New York City, Robert Kelly reveals more than you ever wanted to know about his life. He’s a new dad, he’s getting older, he farted in a baby’s face once. No detail is spared and neither is the audience.
On Friday, January 16th at 12 am et, Comedy Central presents “Ari Shaffir: Paid Regular”. Ari challenges all authority in his new special, plus his hallucinogenic humor takes the audiences to places like camping on mushrooms and UFC fights on acid. “Ari Shaffir: Paid Regular” was taped in the Original Room at the legendary Comedy Store in Los Angeles. Ari’s special leads up to his new series on Comedy Central, “This Is Not Happening” which premieres on Thursday, January 22nd at 12:30 am et.
Kyle Kinane is back on Comedy Central with his second special, “I Liked His Old Stuff Better”. With a title like this, it doesn’t sound like he’s tempting too much of a sophomore jinx. Kyle tells some stories from the grim side of his life, but somehow finds a happy ending to falling in the shower and other miscues life hands him. “Kyle Kinane: I Liked His Old Stuff Better” debuts on Comedy Central on Friday, January 23rd at 12 am et.
