Rob Riggle Shooting New Pilot About a Struggling Mayor

Rob Riggle is shooting a new single-camera pilot for FOX. According to Deadline, the new comedy series is about “the quirky inhabitants of a small struggling town whose mayor, played by Riggle, is prepared to do anything to save his community”.
The sitcom is based on an Australian series called “Braunschlag”. The American version will be written by Steve Hely who’s written for “The Office”, “30 Rock” and “American Dad”.
Rob Riggle can currently be seen in “Dumb and Dumber To” in theaters now.
