Ricky Gervais Gets Selfish For Netflix
Coming Soon! A new Ricky Gervais series! Netflix has ordered a new dark comedy series from Ricky Gervais starring the comedy super star as a man who rearranges his priorities after his wife dies.
Titled, “After Life”, Gervais created, directs and executive produces the series- oh and he’ll also star as Tony, a really nice guy whose perfect life is shattered after he loses his perfect wife. No more Mr. Nice Guy, Tony decides he will stop caring about himself, or anyone else for that matter, so he says goodbye to his former personality and does anything he wants.
The series announcement came on the heels of the release of Gervais’ stand up special, Humanity, with Netflix.
Charlie Hanson who worked with Gervais on Extras also executive produces.
