Redskins Would Rather Not Have A Stadium Than Change Their Name
The ‘Skins need a new stadium. Yet they have a problem — many gov’t officials that oppose the “Redskins” name could block the team from receiving funds to build a new stadium if they do not change the name. When asked if the team would change their name if it was the lone barrier stopping them from getting a new stadium, Washington Redskins President Bruce Allen replied: “No.” Good to see Washington management is as willing to compromise as the pilgrims.
