Red Sox Fans Hang Racist Banner

A group of self-proclaimed “white anti-racist protesters,” purchased tickets at Fenway Park on the Green Monster and hung a sign that said “Racism Is As American As Baseball”. The sign hung for a few minutes before security had it taken down. Their purpose was to “remind everyone that just as baseball is fundamental to American culture and history, so too is racism. White people need to wake up to this reality before white supremacy can truly be dismantled. We urge anyone who is interested in learning more or taking action to contact their local racial justice organization.” When it comes to outfield signs, let’s just stick to the one guy keeping track of strikeouts with Ks.
