Seattle Seahawks QB Russel Wilson will appear in a GrapeFruit league game in either February or March. Wilson was a college baseball standout, drafted by the Rockies and played in the minor leagues in 2011 ,then decided to pursue football, but his contract was picked up by the Texas Rangers in 2013. The Yankee’s just acquired his contract from Texas. Wilson won’t be trying to play two major sports at once, he’s just always wanted to play for the Yankees, loves baseball and will be assigned to the Double-A Trenton roster. If this leads to a Tebow at-bat against Russel Wilson, we’re looking at SuperBowl like ratings.
