Shecky Greene Goes on Gilbert Gottfried’s Podcast. Is the Feud Over or is this Round 2!?
Shecky Greene calls into Gilbert Gottfried’s podcast on an episode that goes live THIS MONDAY!
Shecky appearing on Gilbert podcast? Seems impossible. Just six months ago, Shecky called Gilbert garbage, saying he wanted to throw Gilbert against a wall. He even went so far as to say “I swear to God I was really going to kill him.”
The trouble started at a Friars Club event honoring comedian Freddie Roman in April 2014. Gilbert performed, Shecky found the performance and jokes to be so offensive that he became enranged, ran out, threatened violence and quit the Friar’s Club. Shecky talked about the incident on the Ron and Fez Show, you can read about that and hear clips here.
