Pixar to Scale Back on Sequels

Pixar studios has announced that it plans to cut back on the number of sequels it produces, aiming for an original film production every year. After Pixar’s first 10 films, every movie but one has been a sequel (or prequel, as is the case for “Monsters University,” a recent Pixar flick). Now we’ll never know whether “Up 2” is as depressing as the first movie.
