Philly Mayor Hopes ‘Knucklehead Contingent’ Skips Eagles Parade
Thursday the City of Philadelphia will parade the Vince Lombardi trophy through the city celebrating their first NFL Super Bowl win. The parade starts at the stadium at 11am, heads up Broad Street to City Hall and then along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway before heading at the Rocky steps at the Philly Museum of Art. The parade will include free subway rides and one free bud light at a bunch of bars along the route.
Mayor Jim Kenny said he hopes the “knucklehead contingent” will stay away.
