Pete Lee Performs Stand Up on the Tonight Show

Pete Lee is becoming a regular on The Tonight Show. Last night he performed his fourth set of 2018 on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. His debut performance was a year ago in May 2017, making this his fifth appearance, and most likely a record number of suits bought by a comedian in a year. He’s always breaking records on the Tonight Show- first for being the first comedian to get a standing ovation, and then later for getting five handshakes from Fallon (which may or may not be a record, but we’re calling it one).

Pete is the nicest comedian on television and he’s not afraid to brag about it. Fallon’s audiences adore Lee’s heart of America Wisconsin accent and sweetheart brand of comedy. In this set, he talks about being too “extra” and growing up poor, being straight while also being a gay stereotype, and his own brand of feminism.

Pete just celebrated 21 years in comedy by going west to the land of opportunity. New York will miss him.
