Pete Davidson SNL Bit Leads To Campaign For Norman Reedus To Host
Pete Davidson lit up social media again Saturday night, but it was a cameo during his SNL Weekend Update segment that had Twitterers tweeting. Saturday Night Live’s Resident Young Person did a recap of the “Walking Dead” season 5 finale. It was sold as being spoiler free and Pete stayed true to that by talking about how he probably shouldn’t smoke weed while watching zombie shows.
Pete Davidson’s pot fueled paranoid rant about becoming a zombie included a special guest star. Norman Reedus appeared as his “Walking Dead” zombie hunting character Daryl Dixon. He fired his crossbow right into Pete’s chest. SNL / Walking Dead fans were so thrilled to see Norman show up on Weekend Update, there was an immediate online demand for Norman Reedus to host Saturday Night Live.
