Pete Davidson Guests On Late Night

Saturday Night Live’s youngest cast member Pete Davidson did his first late night gig last night on Late Night With Seth Meyers and lived his lifelong dream of setting up a clap.
Davidson breezed in on a segway or hoverboard or whatever you’re calling them. He was wearing a very stylish Homer Simpson and Donut shirt and told stories of the havoc he creates everywhere he goes with his hoverboard.
Pete talked about how he got his SNL audition. Pete told the story in an interview with Maxim magazine, but now you can hear and watch Pete tell it for yourself.
He got the audition after meeting Bill Hader on the set of Trainwreck. Hader had called Lorne and set it up. Pete basically did his stand up for the audition and obviously nailed it because soon after, he got off a plane, turned on his phone and it was ringing. Lorne was on the phone and told him “I don’t know what to do with you but you got the show.” The rest is history. Davidson trended on twitter on his very first appearance on Saturday Night Live and has been frequently featured ever since. So if you love Pete on SNL you can thank Amy Schumer for putting him in the movie where he met Bill Hader who called Lorne Michaels who auditioned and hired him.
Davidson also told a story about finding his doppleganger on the Miami Marlins, and doing an acrobatic 69 with the Rock. Watch both clips below.
