People are Pissed at BBC Commenter: “Bartoli Not A Looker”

The BBC has aplogized for comments made by high-ranking tennis commenter John Inverdale after he asked radio listeners “Do you think Bartoli’s dad told her when she was little ‘You’re never going to be a looker?” The comment prompted many to respond angrily over social media with the hashtag ‘Everyday Sexism’. The BBC had no problem however when Inverdale said he would like to “dial Sharapova like a rotary phone”.
