UPDATE: Paul Simon, Edie Brickell Arrested After Domestic Dispute

Legendary singer – songwriter Paul Simon and his wife Edie Brickell were both arrested on disorderly conduct charges in Connecticut. Police responded to their home Saturday night after a call came from their house about an apparent domestic dispute. Art Garfunkel is reportedly relieved to find out he isn’t the only person Simon can’t get along with.

UPDATE: According to police, it was Simon who called the police after his wife, Edie Brickell, picked a fight with him. Officials went on to say that they had probable cause that an altercation and dispute had taken place and under domestic violence statues for the state, they were obligated to make arrests. In a statement issued by her lawyer, Brickell said ‘I got my feelings hurt and picked a fight with my husband. The police called it disorderly. Thank God it’s orderly now.’ She would later add that Simon is ‘No threat to me at all’. While Simon appearing in court holding Brickell’s hand’ and stated ‘Both of us are fine together. We had a fight. It’s atypical… We’re going home together, and we’re going to watch our son play baseball.’
