You knew that after what happened in Colorado we would be forced to look at graphs. Paul Krugman has a graph that Kieran Healy put together that shows us what violent assholes Americans are compared to other advanced countries. Ouch. The weird thing is that even though we tower over the rest of the world in batshit violence we are doing much better than we did in the 70s. We were really nuts then, but the Rock N Roll was better
