Otto And George Documentary In The Works

According to the Reverend Bob Levy on Twitter, plans for a documentary film about the ventriloquist team Otto and George are underway.

Otto Petersen performed for 4 decades with his dummy George. In the beginning, he and George would perform around New York City including Central Park and on the Staten Island ferry. As he started working club dates, his act with George got more and more blue. Otto and George became a regular on the Opie and Anthony Show, they also appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and worked with Penn & Teller. Otto Petersen also wrote for The Interrobang.

Otto passed away this past April 13th at his home in New Jersey.

This Thursday, October 23rd, fans are being asked to gather at the Lot 13 Comedy Club in Bayonne, NJ. Filming for the new Otto and George documentary will be happening there at 8:30 pm, and a show.
