Just two days ago, Sebastian Maniscalco announced one of the biggest things a comedian can announce- a date at Madison Square Garden. And that should have been terrifying because that’s a lot of tickets to sell. But we said we were confident he would join the very exclusive list of comics who have sold out the Garden, and he must be pretty close, because last night on Seth Meyers, Maniscalco announced that demand is so high, he’s adding a second night. We didn’t even know tickets went on sale yet!

“Basically the first show is just for my family,” he joked on Seth Meyers last night, “so yeah, we added a second show.”

Maniscalco made appearances Tuesday on NBC’s “Megyn Kelly TODAY” and “Late Night with Seth Meyers” where he revealed that after only 24 hours since announcing his next performance in New York City at Madison Square Garden on January 19, a second show would be added for Sunday, January 20, 2019 due to overwhelming demand.

“I told my Father that I was going to do The Garden and he said, ‘I hope you’re planting cucumbers and tomatoes,’” said Maniscalco. “This is an amazing time for me and my family and I can’t wait to perform at the greatest arena in the world.”

The dates are part of Sebastian’s monster Stay Hungry tour.

Maniscalco will also receive Billboard’s first ever Comedian of the Year award in November as film Green Book takes People’s Choice Award at TIFF
