Thanks to a six year study, scientists have discovered that there are a minimum of 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic floating in the world’s oceans which are killing marine life and damaging ecosystems. This could be the biggest killer of ocean creatures since those seven massive pieces of land appeared out of nowhere.
